VNA Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Lackawanna County, a not-for-profit agency, was established in 1989 as part of the original Visiting Nurse Association that has served our community since 1895. Since then, VNA Hospice has positioned itself as the region's leader in the provision of innovative hospice services, annually reaching thousands of patients, families and friends in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is important for our patients and families to know that we are accredited by the Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.
